Here's Your Chance to Join the Iditarod!

Have you always wanted a dog in the race? With this donation of a sponsorship, you can have one, because Izzy, an Alaskan Husky pup being trained for the Iditarod will be running for you!!  Iditarod 2012 2nd place winner Aliy Zirkle (cousin of SFS parent) both runs and raises dogs at her SP Kennel in Two Rivers, Alaska.

Along with the sponsorship of Izzy for the 2012-13 sled dog racing season, the winning bidder will receive dog memorabilia signed by Aliy Zirkle.

About Izzy

Izzy is energetic! At nine months old, she is a bundle of joy. She and her four brothers had their first run only a few weeks ago on March 20th. Izzy adjusted to her harness and kept up with the veteran race dogs like a champ.  It's in her blood - her mother Quito and her father Biscuit both finished the Yukon Quest and Iditarod races this year in 2nd place.

Izzy has some big paw prints to fill, but she is already showing that she can be a great sled dog! Watch Izzy grow up through this sponsorship during the 2012-13 season!
