"Still Life with Orange Birds" (2012) by world renowned visual artist, sculptor, designer and performer Vadim Puyandaev is an oil on canvas measuring 40" x 50".


His art has been shown in art exhibitions in Switzerland, France, Spain, Canada, Russia, Israel, and the US.  He has been internationally recognized and awarded by SOMArts, Stanford Arts Initiative, Zellerbach Family Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Tourism in Israel, Salon des Leopards (Saint-Tropez, France) and is the recipient of the Grande Medaille Republique Francaise at the Festival Palmares des Blues en Peitute, France.


Mr. Puyandaev was the main artist of Herod’s Palace Hotel Sheraton in Eilat, Israel where he designed and painted the interior and exterior of the hotel.  He has also produced numerous pieces of monumental art. He was commissioned to design a bridge over the Red Sea as well as a sculpture ensemble for the entrance to the city of Eilat in Israel.  


Vadim Puyandaev was born in Kazakhstan where he received his MA in Fine Arts from the University of Kazakhstan. He lived and worked in Israel for 12 years prior to moving to San Francisco where he resides with his family.
