This landscape oil painting on canvas, "Cottage Through Leaves," was completed in the studio as a response to a trip to the Scottish countryside with a dear friend. It depicts a small cottage near the Clachan Bridge--a gateway to the Inner Hebrides that is also known as "The Bridge Over The Atlantic." Expressive brushstrokes attempt to capture the moody, ever-turbulent Scottish sky and the glassy water that reflects it. The painting is signed by the artist in the lower left corner. It measures 24" x 36" and is ready to hang.
