Evins Mill is a small resort property located near the town of Smithville, Tennessee -- just east of Nashville. Minutes from Center Hill Lake, the Inn provides all the amenities of a luxury destination in the personal setting of a bed and breakfast. Formerly the estate of U.S. Congressman Joe Evins, today Evins Mill is a historic inn and resort offering a scenic setting, bluff view accommodations and southern gourmet cuisine. Select amenities abound, as do on-site activities and nearby excursions. Straddling the Highland Rim and Cumberland Plateau, the 40-acre property boasts one of the few Eastern Hemlock forests in the region, lending it a mountain appeal. Hiking trails along wooded bluffs lead to overlooks and the base of cascading Carmac Falls. The State of Tennessee has designated the site a State Natural Area.
