Color: Deep garnet/violet with garnet edges Nose: Huge sweet oak with a fair bit of vanilla, followed by jammy black fruit. Palate: Same as the nose, but very hard to discern much else besides the overwhelming oak, besides some char and jammy black fruit with a touch of black cherry. May need more time, but the oak is way over the top.
