You might remember our World Dance Festival of past years. This is the next generation! "Sun Valley Classroom Connections Showcase" is a springtime art, music and dance production that will involve every student in 2012-13.

The program cost of $5,000 includes funding a choreographer/dance instructor, music & art teacher during preparation, rehearsals and final production. 

* Classroom Connections Showcase is a "cross curricular" arts festival.  

* Classroom themes on each grade level will be explored through the prism of visual art, music and movement.

* Classroom Connections Showcase was created by music specialist Cathy Lenz, who will team with art teacher Kris Castle and choreographer Tom Mayock to give every child multiple ways to access and learn concepts. 

* Classroom Connections Showcase gives students an opportunity to share and perform for a unique sense of accomplishment!
