Kids making you climb the walls? You (or them) should go climb something else! Try Berkeley Iron Works. This is a certificate for two people to take an Intro to Climbing Class.
Enjoy an immediate climbing experience with our instructors as they guide you through the proper use of belay equipment, knot tying and basic top rope climbing. We emphasize personal responsibility and safe practices for indoor climbing. This class is highly recommended for first-time climbers, but is also a great refresher if it has been a while since the last time you belayed.
Special Instructions
The minimum age is 14.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled class time so you are able to get checked in and geared up before the start of class. Class length will depend on the number of students, but is generally one hour. You are welcome to stay and climb with a friend for the remainder of the day.
Winning bidder may pick up the certificate on Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 in the Sun Valley School Multi-Purpose Room, 75 Happy Lane, San Rafael. Any mailing or delivery charges are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
