You are bidding on a one of a kind experience.  This item includes a paid three (3) month internship in the Los Angeles Office of The Mandalay Entertainment Group, working in the office of the Chairman, Peter Guber.  This internship will afford an individual the opportunity to learn and oversee, as well as to be engaged in the various business segments in which Mandalay competes, which includes movies, television, sports and digital media.  The internship also includes a private lunch and coaching session with Peter Guber and the President of the Company.  The intern will also attend various events (including screenings and sports events) that the Company is responsible for. 


 


Bio:  Peter Guber is the Chairman and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment.  Films he personally produced or executive produced have earned over $3 billion worldwide, and include the box office hits The Color Purple, Midnight Express, Batman and Flashdance.  Mr. Guber's personal films have been honored with more than 50 Academy Award nominations, and his film Rain Man was named Best Picture by the Academy.  In 2011, Mandalay's The Kids Are All Right received the Golden Globe's Best motion picture award, and was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture.  Mr. Guber is a full professor at UCLA. and he is the owner and co-executive Chairman of the NBA franchise, the Golden State Warriors.  Mr. Guber's third book, Tell to Win, became the #1 Best Seller on the New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal lists.
