Andre J. Davis has worked as a hairstylist in the fashion and music industries for over twenty years.  Andre started his career in haircutting and hairstyling at the Vidal Sassoon Academy.  He began his career at Astor Place Haircutters, renowned for the kind of edgy, trendsetting styling that emblemized New York’s Greenwich Village in the 1990s.  He went on to work for Bumble & Bumble Salon, and for the fashion and music industries, as a consultant for new artist development and a stylist for hit-makers.

Andre was a lead stylist on TLC Channel’s “A Model Life” with supermodel Petra Nemkova and with the Ford Supermodel of the World competition broadcasts.  His work is featured at the Academy Awards; the Miss Universe pageant; in Nexxus advertisements; the editorial pages of major magazines, including Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen and WWD; in catalogs, including J.C. Penny and Macy’s; and on the fashion runway, for designers Galliano and Victoria’s Secret, among others. He is presently a senior hair stylist at Julien Farel Salon in New York City, specializing in custom hair weaves, wigs, and extensions, with expertise in women’s and men’s hair restoration.
