Description

Caroline H. Gurrey was a little known photographer in Hawaii in the early 1900's but her photos have since become much sought-after.  She made her living with her portraits of Honolulu's wealthy citizens but her interest in photography as an art remained with Hawaii's mixed race children.

These photos (circa 1905) were printed from negatives, measure 7" x 13.5" and are printed on archival quality rag paper. Original photo will not have KHS watermark.
