This is true nostalgic 1950's hawaiiana at its finest. Entitled "Lady with Hibiscus", this velvet painting was created by the famous Australian artist, Perc Miller, who studied under Edgar Leetag of Tahiti and Hawaii fame.  Leetag has for a long time been referred to as the "Rembrandt on black velvet".  This composition by Perc Miller is a classic and vintage look at our old Hawaii.  It is oil on velvet, 15" x 18" and is framed in koa wood with a linen mat and koa filet.  Dated 1950.
