Description
Traditionally these types of bowls were used to keep poi. Now they are beautiful pieces of art. This bowl is made of milo wood which is known for its rich red and brown colors and delicate lacey grain. To the ancient Hawaiians milo was one of the most valuable and colorful woods used for furniture, canoes, paddles, and bowls. It measures approximatel 9" high.
