How Does it Work?
Acupuncture is based on a system of meridians (pathways), which can be stimulated through specific pressure points throughout the body. These points, when stimulated with thin, painless needles, activate the meridians to flow with “Qi” or energy.

How Long does it Last?

Typically an acupuncture session lasts about an hour, which includes a personal consultation with your practitioner; point insertion, retention, and removal; and possibly an extra therapeutic modality such as cupping, Tui Na(chinese style massage), the burning of Moxa(an incense-like herb), or the prescription of a Chinese Herbal formula.
Results, such as pain relief, can last a few days to a few months after treatment- depending on the condition and its circumstances.
