Georgetown Day School parent Sookie Kunst teaches a blend of yoga traditions in her studio in Cabin John, MD. She has been practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching since 2004. Her style integrates Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga traditions with breath work and meditation. Her Karma Yoga studio is a light-filled, clean space with hardwood floors. It uniquely accommodates very small classes of no more than eight students so everyone enjoys ample attention. There are four (eight-week) sessions available from September to June. Several sessions currently have openings. All classes are in the mornings. Classes are not offered during GDS summer break and other GDS vacations. Enjoy this gift of health and wellness.
