About the Artist:
Megan Mowins has been working with glass since 2005, and teaching at Diablo Glass school since 2007. She learned to blow glass at Salem State college and holds and BA in Art Education as well as Massachusetts Teaching certifications of grades K-8 and 5-12. She has also worked at Maho Bay a green eco camp in the Virgin Islands producing art made with recycled glass. She has a private torch working/fusing studio in Salem in which she produces jewelry and fused items. Megan is currently perusing a Masters in Teaching Art and has just joined the Art Faculty at Creative Arts.
