Local Artist, Karl Weld, will paint a 14x10 (unframed) piece of art from one of your photos!! What a personal and sentimental item! You choose a few photos for him to look through and then he'll paint the masterpiece.

Karl Weld lives in Reading and is a member of the Reading Art Association. Last year his painting "Sunrise, Winter Pond" won Most Popular at the association's spring exhibit, and his painting "Aunt Dud's Mince Meat Pies" won Best in Show at the fall exhibit. He has shown his work for the past 8 years at The Gallery at Caterpillar HIll in Sedgewick, Maine. Karl started taking formal art lessons at the age of 10, in programs much like those offered by Creative Arts. "Not everyone wants to play sports. Some want to draw and paint or act, dance or play an instrument. Creative Arts offers such a wealth of creative expression opportunities. Truly an asset for our community."
