Your pilot on this flight is Bo Bowman of Greenwood, SC.  Bo has a MS in Mechanical Engineering, was a test engineer for Pratt & Whitney jet engines and worked on and ran the Apollo rocket engine for the lunar orbiter. He managed rocket engine programs for United Technologies Research Labs before starting a 29-year career with Westinghouse Electric in the Pittsburgh area—nuclear power, then environmental cleanups at closed facilities. Currently Bo is semi-retired (working part-time for Davis & Floyd in Greenwood---Environmental Division) and is very involved with church work at Immanuel Lutheran. Bo obtained his Private Pilots License in 1980 and later got Instrument Rating. He owns an airplane – a Piper Archer and flies frequently. He is a volunteer pilot and speaker for Angel Flight having flown about 75 missions to date, and given about 70 presentations. He is currently the  South Carolina Branch Director for Angel Flight based out of the Greenwood County Airport. Bo is married to Peggy. They have two children and two grandchildren.
