Everyone needs another set of eyes on their artist statement.  In this three-hour consultation, I'll review your current materials, interview you to hear more about your artistic vision and current interests, and edit your statement with fresh, jargon-free language to describe your work.

Bryony Romer is a seasoned development writer and a visual artist, who has experienced the challenge of writing and editing artist statements and mission statements for herself, for other artists and for organizations of all sizes.  She has 19 years of fundraising experience, working with performing arts organizations including Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, and Dances For A Variable Population.  She holds an MFA in Visual Art from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts.
