Toni Goffe studied painting and illustration at Southampton College of Art in Hampshire between 1952 to 1956, getting a National Diploma in design. After completing the course, moved to London, where he freelanced as an illustrator at an advertising agency, while playing professionally in numerous jazz bands. Throughout this period, he continued to study painting with a number of teachers and also began to illustrate children's books as a freelance. 

In 1960, Toni Goffemarried and moved back to Hampshire, where he and his wife started in the gallery The Pendulum Selborne, specialized for the first time in the natural history of the subject and later modern paintings. The gallery Toni also provided a platform to present their own original illustrations gouache and pastel pictures, as well as other local artists. 

In 1982, he moved to Boston, USA, to direct The John Lewis Gallery coagulation Wharf, focusing exclusively on oil painting and privilege to be the study with John clotting. He exhibited in many galleries along the east coast between 1982 and 1985, while mixed and one man shows. 

Toni Goffe Hampshire returned to England with his family in 1985, continued to work as independent illustrator and painter. His landscapes and seascapes won him a huge success, with exhibitions both in the UK and Ireland. Your local Gallery, Allen Galley in Alton, has held a man exhibition of his work regularly during the past 10 years, and his work remains largely demand through the Home Municipalities, as well as other parts of the world. 

He has received official recognition for his work in 1993 when he received the Gold Book Award for his illustrations for the children's book, 'Just In Case You Ever Wonder'. Green joined Washington in 1999, with six of his original lithographs produced with his pet cats and Mungo Mingus.
