Bring an artist into a classroom and magical things can happen. Art-making projects transform kids into motivated, engaged, active learners. For only $2,000 you can bring a teaching artist into a school in  your district or in a district where the need is greatest. The artist of your choice will partner with teachers to provide five sessions that bring learning to life.

Hip Hop with Cornell “Lord Judah” Carelock - Teens will unleash their rhyming skills with hip hop artist Cornell Carelock!  Underserved youth will work to create their own positive message through hip hop music…rhyming and recording a full original song in this series of performing art workshops.  Cornell Carelock A.K.A "LORD JUDAH" has been teaching his own brand of hip hop appreciation to the youth of his community and beyond create a sense of pride in themselves and their culture.
