Sponsor an Artist Residency

Bring an artist into a classroom and magical things can happen. Art-making projects transform kids into motivated, engaged, active learners. For only $2,000 you can bring a teaching artist into a school in  your district or in a district where the need is greatest. The artist of your choice will partner with teachers to provide five sessions that bring learning to life.

Recycled Sculpture with Jeffrey Schrier - Students will use materials that are not usually associated with art to build sculptures that, teaching them the value of the material they’re using in the process.  Environmental sculptor Jeffrey Schrier hopes to teach his students how to better understand their environment, their community, and each other.
