Bring an artist into a classroom and magical things can happen. Art-making projects transform kids into motivated, engaged, active learners. For only $2,000 you can bring a teaching artist into a school in  your district or in a district where the need is greatest. The artist of your choice will partner with teachers to provide five sessions that bring learning to life.

Poetry with Kate Gallagher - The scent of a love ones perfume, the sound of your favorite song and the taste of a home cooked meal all bring great memories.  Help students learn how to translate these wonderful sensations into words with a poetry residency lead by teaching artist and former children’s book editor Kate Gallagher.
