Sponsor an Artist Residency

Bring an artist into a classroom and magical things can happen. Art-making projects transform kids into motivated, engaged, active learners. For only $2,000 you can bring a teaching artist into a school in  your district or in a district where the need is greatest. The artist of your choice will partner with teachers to provide five sessions that bring learning to life.

Improvisation with Willie Teacher - Kids will unearth their confidence in an interactive performing art residency with actor Willie Teacher.  Support a residency for underserved youth to learn improvisation, acting and the art of listening through a series of workshops promoting positive peer interaction.  Willie Teacher is an actor, motivator and teacher.  He received his MFA in acting from Brandeis University and a BA from Temple University and is a certified stage combatant.
