Ten Days in Historic San Miguel de Allende, Mexico!

Item Number: 26

Description
Ten days in September 2012 or 2013 at the Vogt’s lovely 18th-century casita in historic San Miguel de Allende, Mexico! Spanish colonial ambience blends seamlessly with 21st century convenience.
There are two bedrooms (a king and two twins), ideal for 4 people. Both bedrooms have private stairways to adjoining rooftop terraces with extraordinary views of the Parroquia and town, the nearby lake, mountains, and sunsets. There are also 2-1/2 baths, the master including a gorgeous tiled tub big enough for two.
A winding path from the foyer leads through a bamboo grove to a stone patio under a spreading pomegranate tree, complete with a sparkling tile-and-stone fountain. Relax in privacy in the cool shade of the outdoor sala with its overstuffed sofas and chairs and fireplace.
September is the "month of festivals" in San Miguel de Allende, a great time to visit this culturally rich, UNESCO World Heritage city (ranked the #1 place to visit in Mexico by the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards). The early fall weather is nearly always perfect.
"This is a great place to relax and enjoy a slower, more gracious way of life. There are many things to do including theater, cooking classes, art galleries, walks of the historic district, yoga classes, as well as day excursions to nearby cities and archeological sites. I would definitely recommend this charming home and city to anyone."
