Description

Fifty-four pristine yards of lightweight cotton upholstery fabric commissioned for George Washington's Mount Vernon estate in the late 70s/early 80s. Produced by Old Deerfield Fabrics, pattern #6039. Delicate, detailed scenes from nature sprinkled throughout in rich colonial red on a warm cream background. A historically accurate and frankly beautiful addition to your New England colonial (or any) decor.

Donated by First Parishioner Flavia Perugini, who served as sole conservator at Mount Vernon for many years and is currently a conservator at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts.
