Looking for something to do? Come see a program of Russian splendor… the final concerts feature works by 20th century Russian composer Georgy Vasilyevich Sviridov. Artistic Director Charles Bruffy and the Chorale are committed to bringing attention to lesser-known composers and while Sviridov’s music remains little known in the West, his works receive high praise in his homeland for their memorable lyrical melodies, national flavor and mainly for great expression of Russia and the Russian soul in his music.
