The Erwin-VanKoughnett Cottage nestles quietly on miles of golden sugar-sand beach. Watch the sun and moon rise out of the calm waters of Lake Huron. The comfortable-chic interior has three bedrooms and two baths on two levels, sleeping as many as nine. Walks in the woods and to the nearby lighthouse/museum, s'more-roasting beach fires and swimming, kayaking and fishing- all of these leisurely pursuits await you and your family. The cottage is a calm seven-hour drive from Chicago - long, perhaps, but definitely worthwhile if you are looking to relax with the family in north woods comfort. The kids will be able to roam free, catching frogs, toads and butterflies while Mom and Dad relax on the deck or in the hammock. Take your bicycles and golf clubs, beach toys and camera for fun your family will cherish forever!"
