A Beautiful Semi-Precious Stone Necklace with 18k Gold findings!

Montreaux Jewelers, the powerhouse company that rocked the fashion world in the late 70’s and 80’s is available in all Saks stores with their new line.  Under the guidance of Michael Engelhardt, the company which was known for their extensive line of cabochons has a new direction of freshwater pearls and semi-precious gemstones.

 “Our goal is to bring our clients a new look of wearable art” explains Mr. Engelhardt, a third generation jeweler on both sides of his family.  "The world of Montreaux is all about colors coupled with the positive energy and happiness that the gemstones bring to their owners." 

With his roots dating back to the early 1900’s Mr. Engelhardt talks fondly about his heritage of traditional jewelry.  "My paternal grandfather Sigmund Engelhardt was one of the recognized jewelers to the court of  Franz Josef, Emperor of Austria, while my maternal grandfather Daniel Okrent boasted a workshop of 52 jewelers in Paris in the 1920’s.  I enjoy bringing “new direction and challenges to the company."  In years past, Mr. Engelhardt’s creations were seen at Tiffany, Cartier, and Henry Birks of Canada where he had displays in 50 stores.
