I am happy to announce that this year’s auction project is finished and can be viewed in the front lobby of the school! This year the class made a “Fantasy Bookshelf.” The class began by painting a bookshelf that was donated to the class by the Geiger family.  Each of the students helped paint pictures and the title of one of their favorite stories or fairytales onto the shelves. Local artist Richard Craw (www.richardcraw.com) was kind enough to help us by painting a gorgeous scene from Rapunzel on one side of the bookshelfand a scene from Jack and the Beanstalk on the other side. We are very lucky to have had his help.

   We are very happy with the way the project came out and the children did a GREAT job helping! A big “thank you!” to everyone who helped by making a donation for the paint supplies and bookshelf. Please view the project in the front lobby and at the Spring Auction on April 14, 2012.
