Joana Wardell is a native Charlottean and also a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Joana has been an artist for about 40 years. She has a BFA as well as an MFA in Painting and Drawing and has taught Queens University as well as at Winthrop University. She has enjoyed affiliations with Blue Spiral 1 in Asheville NC, Hodges Taylor, Charlotte NC; Providence Gallery in Charlotte NC; Blowing Rock Gallery in Blowing Rock NC: Christa Faut Gallery in Cornelius NC and Gallery 5 in Rock Hill NC.   Her work has been accepted into many national exhibits and she has had the honor of being an exhibiting member of the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Artists Assoc. in NYC as well as the National Society of Painters in Acrylic and Casein in NYC.
