This beautiful sculpture, by Zimbabwean artist Edward Rumano, is hand chiseled and polished from Springstone, a beautiful dark stone that polishes to a high shine because of its density.  This work represents a number of Rumano's pieces that will be exhibited and available for purchase at the Arts for AIDS fundraiser on December 1, 2012 at Mill Race Center in Columbus.

Edward Rumano, an internationally recognized artist, was born into a multigenerational sculpting family in Murewa, Zimbabwe. His work has been exhibited in the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe, in Beijing, China and in the United States. Edward uses sculpture to express his feelings towards humanity at large.
