Simply titled “Roses,” this oil-on-canvas was painted in 1975 by Gary Jenkins of PBS fame. The painting features a trio of roses on a bed of mutli-colored leaves that seem to pop right off the canvas. This trademark style of motion and life will be familiar to viewers from “Jenkins Art Studio” which aired on PBS in the 1980s. With the ornate wooden frame, the finished piece measure 30 by 40 inches.
