Bio:
Mrs. Langer was born in Belmont and grew up on the grounds of the McLean Hospital, where her father worked as administrative director. She attended Belmont Country Day School and graduated from the Brimmer & May School in 1942. She graduated cum laude from Wellesley College in 1946.
The next year, Mrs. Langer was working for the American Unitarian Association in Boston when she married her longtime beau, Leonard Langer, who was begining his academic career at Harvard Business School.
The Annisquam Village Art Gallery
The gallery is on the second floor of the historic Leonard School, above the Exchange, and is in its 52nd year. In addition to the permanent exhibition, there are two group exhibitions by local artists in the main gallery. The small gallery hosts two special exhibits of local artists.
