Description

38"x20" original oil painting and hand crafted wood frame by Southern Maryland Artist Charles FM Hughes.

Big Sky Country - Montana originated from a photo taken by the grandfather of 3rd Grade French Stokes Scholar, Amelie Gerber.  Charles FM Hughes, graduate of the Pittsburgh Ivy School of Professional Art, is a professional photographer and painter. Throughout the 80s he traveled cross country with his family photographing the nation.  These captured moments have been an endless source of inspiration.  In the spirit of the Stokes philosophy of traveling and discovering new places, he has donated this original painting.

Charles FM Hughes was inspired to pursue a life of art by his Great Uncle Frederick W. Harer, an American painter, sculptor and etcher, who is best known for his skill as a gilder and framemaker. Charles FM Hughes continues the family tradition of craftmanship and artistry.

This is a Live Event Item.
