James Thomas of Thomas Art Studios offers an original light sculpture, 'Hearts of Space.' Transform your space with a mesmerizing work of art. Cascades of pink hearts project their warm glow, uplifted by graceful blue beams rising from the base. The piece is 10 inches in diameter and 31 inches high. It includes a white Formica pedestal that is 11 x 11 x 66 inches. The materials used to create the sculpture are acrylic plastic, fluorescent lamp, and colored mylar. James Thomas has exhibited work locally, regionally, nationally and internationally in galleries and museums. He is Professor Emeritus at the College of Imaging Arts and Science, at R.I.T., having taught sculpture, design and drawing for 31 years. Please note: Artist (donor) will deliver and install light sculpture within a 75 mile radius of Rochester. The high bidder is asked to please call the studio at 585-398-7718 to make arrangements for delivery and installation. The high bidder is invited to visit the artist's studio to view other work for possible exchange or upgrade, with the bidder being responsible for the cost of an upgrade.
