Mitch Morrissey has been District Attorney of Denver since 2005, responsible for the prosecution of more than 6,000 felony and 21,000 misdemeanor criminal cases each year. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in DNA technology. He has worked extensively on the Denver Cold Case Project where more than 4,200 unsolved sexual assaults and homicides have been reviewed in an effort to use DNA technologies to solve them.
