Alejandrina B. Quintana, artist/owner of JunkyFunk Designs, created this mask for Root Down where she is currently a server. Her unisex accessory design JunkyFunk Designs features designer wares created from upcycled items, bicycle tubes, vinyl records and vintage jewels. Her mask represents the cycle of beauty found in all life cycles. It pays respect to the sun that warms, the moon that cycles and balances the earth, the core of the earth that beats like our hearts and all life that feeds from within.
