Two sports journalists - Bob Costas of NBC Sports and Robert Lipsyte, long-time sports and city columnist for The New York Times, were together in New York City for a sports talk presentation sponsored by The New York Times when they signed this mask. Colorado artist Mary Arneson created the artwork, calling the mask, "Colorful Rhythm." Whatever the sport, there is always color and rhythm . . . we are called to be a part of the athletic dance.
