John Douglas of the Phoenix Art Group was born in Kansas but raised in Phoenix. John pursued an education in fine art by attending Arizona University as well as coursework in California where he studied painting and various other forms of art media. His passion for travel has taken him round the globe with his favorite retreats including Thailand, Florence, Vienna, Prague and the Amalfi Coast.
