Dominick of the Phoenix Art Group was born in Columbia, S.C., where he spent his childhood experiencing the seasonal richness of the coastal life in Hilton Head. He attended the Ringling Brothers School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fla., where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. I find that I am most impressed by the works of such artists as J.C. Leyendecker, Norman Rockwell and N.C. Wyeth,î Dominick says. Their ability to capture the essence of a human being is what inspires both my work and me.
