Description
Pauline Savage has spent a lifetime mastering multiple media in order to articulate her vision in a body of work that includes paintings, drawings and sculptures. In 2005, Pauline moved Savage Design Studio from Seattle to Littleton, Co. Her "Mirror Mask Through the Looking Glass" is an intricate mosaic of mirror fragments with a mirrored hand holding an open looking-glass frame through which we see and are seen. The mask seems to beg the question: When we look into a mirror, do we see our true selves or a reflection of facets we wish others to see? "Mirror Mask" is perplexing, luminous and thought provoking in any setting or lighting environment.
