Jon Rose is a Denver freelance photographer whose work is concentrated in editorial portraits and fine art photography. Because the objects I photograph are weathered and beaten, I chose to give the mask a similar character by using a bronzing and patina process. The shadowbox surrounding the mask was distressed and built by hand as well.
