Like the Impressionists Boulder artist Astrid Paustian is fascinated by the effects of light and color. She feels very fortunate to live in Colorado with its beautiful scenery, spectacular skies and tucked-away farms and homesteads. Her awards include: Signature Member, Pastel Society of Colorado; Corporate Award, Louisville Art Association Members Show; Peoples Choice, Louisville Art Association Members Show; First Place in the Boulder Art Association Spring Members Show; First Place in the Lafayette Community Art Show; and Third Place in the Boulder Art Association Members Show.
