Laurie Maves is a Denver-based visual artist, live painter and creative online arts queen. After completing her bachelors in art (UW- Madison) and masters in Art Therapy (The School of the Art Institute of Chicago) she transplanted herself to Denver. Her professional work as a clinical Art Therapist in hospitals, mental health centers and with children, ultimately showed her that her creative process was a gift she was best at sharing with the world. Laurie is first and foremost a painter. She often collaborates with photographers, musicians and some of Denvers singer/songwriters to create multimedia creative extravaganzas.
