Colorado Springs artist Mary Arneson began painting in 2005 and has been part of art shows and juried exhibitions in Denver and New York City. She has sold pieces through several galleries and is online with Arizonas Xanadu Gallery. There are times when I wish I had discovered the joy of painting at a much younger age, but my motto has become "Better late, than never," she says. As a cancer survivor, her mask is a tribute to all who have had to reach deep within and bring forth their inner beast to "Engage" in the fight against cancer.
