Lynette LaRue studied at Arapahoe Community College, Metro State and Laguna College of Art and Design in Fine Arts and Graphic Design. She has traveled and painted in Paris, Aix on Provence, Niece and Rome and painted on a fellowship through the Alliance France in Auvillar, France. Her work has been exhibited in several shows in Denver and Aix en Provence.
