Michael Thornton of Elizabeth, Colo., has worked with glass for over 30 years. His current work focuses on fused glass and collaborations with his wife, Janine. His mask is covered with dichroic glass squares kiln fired to round the edges. This mask, called Pixel Man, symbolizes the blending between our human lives, the digital world we inhabit and the need to reach out toward others through programs like The Denver Hospice.
