Description

A packet of bhasma (sacred ash) produced by fire brought from the first Kali Puja ever conducted in public by Shree Anandamayi Ma in 1926 in Bengal.

Ma ordered the fire from the 1926 Kali Puja to be kept ever burning. One of her disciples in Bengal devoted his entire life to fulfilling her request.

The fire was eventually transferred to the Anandamayi Ma ashram in Varanasi where it also lit the fires for two, multi-year Durga yajnas conducted during Ma's lifetime.

The fire is preserved to this day in both the Varanasi and Kankhal yajna shalas. This bhasma is from Varanasi, the ancient sacred city of Lord Shiva.

Anyone who has progressed in their sadhana to a certain degree can see beautiful lights shooting out from this bhasma to a great distance as Ma's personal blessing and so many millions of mantras have gone into producing it.

The bhasma can be preserved as a blessing for your altar. It can also be used as part of a healing program for you or loved ones. You can also eat small amounts each day, or preserve it to be shared with others on special festival days.

Special Instructions

Approximately 1.5 teaspoons full of bhasma are in each packet.
