Description

This dance is an educational tool, as many dances are in Africa. The dance gives instructions through the movements, song, and rhythm on how to prepare for planting, call upon nature, sow the seeds of the garden, harvest its fruits, and celebrate.



This dance has three sections and will take at least three, one hour classes to learn. Can be modified to fit the level of the student. You can invite up to ten friends to join you.



 

Special Instructions

When you come for the session bring a basket, place oil under your toes if you choose you can wear a Lapa (a colorful cloth) around your hips. It is fun to practice this dance in a park.


Must redeem within one year of auction close (7/3/13). 


Donor will come to the winning bidder's home or location of choice, within a 15 mile radius of Cleveland Hts., OH.
