Cici’s Cafe has (one of the) most gluttonous breakfast’s you’ll ever have the pleasure of eating. It’s a real shame that this restaurant is about 65 miles from my house. A real shame indeed.  Everyone in the the San Fernando Valley gathers here for brunch, and for good reason. I wouldn’t go to any other brunch spot if I lived there. Nope, I wouldn’t. As a matter of fact, I had dreams that they opened up a spot in Orange County. Yes, I truly had dreams about the pancakes from here.

Breakfast has long been over looked and simply ignored. Cici’s makes you long for that breakfast everyday. They have an extensive menu and dominating that menu is the variety of pancakes, waffles and crepes. This isn’t your ordinary pancake! Have you ever had a Green Tea Pancake? Or even a Red Velvet Pancake?  Yah, I didn’t think so. It’s a cute little mom & pop spot that has you waiting for 1 hour to be seated. ONE HOUR for brunch? Ridiculous. None the less, if you’re in the Valley, do not attempt to go anywhere else – eat here!
